My mom passed away on September 17, 2023. I had no clue as to what to expect. My mind was put at ease when the transport team arrived. They were very professional and considerate. They handled her body gently and respectfully. Monday I got a call from Aida Gonzalez arranging a meeting with my brother and myself. When we arrived, she was waiting for us. She expressed her condolences and asked if she could get us anything. She then took us to a planning room. Everything you could want for a funeral service and somethings you wouldn’t think of was laid out for us. She asked the necessary questions and offered suggestions that made the planning process a lot easier. She was very professional but she made us feel like we had all know each other for years. The day of the funeral she was right there taking care of us as well as the family and friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better director. What really stood out to my brother and myself happened twelve (12) days later when our dad passed away. Once again, the transport team came and just like before, they handled him the same way as they did our mom with respect, courtesy and compassion. Once again, Aida was right there, offering her support and compassion. Not for one second did she take for granted the fact we had just been through this process. She treated us just like she did the first time. I would recommend Mackey Mortuary Woodlawn Memorial Park to anyone. They truly do care about you and your loved one. When it comes time to lay your loved ones to rest I hope your fortunate enough to get Aida.

Our father passed away Dec.16th 2022 and Mackey Funerals Home was so professional and made us feel that our dad was good in their hands. They made all our requests to honor our dad possible. Every single one. It was a bad time in our lives but they really were so accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend them especially Jeff, he was so attentive to us and answered every question, concerns we had. Thank you Mackey for everything!!

They went above and beyond to make sure that our service was as intimate and personal and we wanted. My wife unexpectedly passed away I was in the hospital and they needed a mortuary information and contact for someone to remove the body without knowing anyone in Greenville I quickly reached Mackey on Century Drive make one phone call spoke with Jasmine. she had to call me back, she didAnd we spoke again with details of my wife name, birthday and things of that nature, and it was done professionally. Next morning she called to acknowledge the fact they had received the body and we had an appointment scheduled for that day at 1 o’clock to review all the details . Once again Jasmine went over and above all expectations, was able to answer all my questions and complete all forms needed for procedures. As someone who’s never booked a funeral or cremation or ceremony I must say this organization did a fantastic job, she was very helpful, pleasant and deserves all my praises. Thanks you Macky.
